INTERNAL MONITORING AND DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR POOL EQUIPMENT

For the purpose of monitoring and controlling the operation of all pool equipment systems, for archiving data on important parameters, and for regular maintenance of pool equipment, the pool system allows for the installation of a microcomputer for data processing, storage, and transmission, as well as for sending alerts to the responsible person or the management of the pool facility.

The internal monitoring system includes data collection on water consumption for each pool system, the levels of chemicals used in pool water treatment, system pressure, a safety alarm for water presence in machine rooms in case of malfunction, and basic chemical parameters of pool water, which must be maintained within the limits defined by the Ordinance on Sanitary-Technical and Hygienic Conditions of Pool Facilities and the Health Safety of Pool Water (Official Gazette No. 59/20, 89/22).

Access to the data is provided through a web browser, with a mobile-friendly display or via a mobile application.

It is necessary to provide the possibility of connecting to the local network in the pool equipment rooms (pool machine rooms).

In Brief:

• The system we have developed allows for connection to the Wallace & Tiernan microprocessor control unit by Evoqua (Depolox Compact and Depolox E700 P), and enables the display and storage of certain data/parameters from the pool equipment system via a web interface on a computer or mobile device, accessible through user credentials.
• Remote access to data via the internet is possible.
• Available parameters:
  1. Free chlorine
  2. pH value
  3. Redox
  4. Temperature
  5. Pool water flow sensor
  6. Sampling water flow sensor
  7. Pool system pressure (pressure transducer required)
  8. Water consumption (reed relay on water meter required)
  9. Minimum chemical levels in tanks
  10. Water presence in the machine room in case of malfunction
  11. Chlorine presence sensor in the area
• For each parameter, it is possible to define an alarm threshold, and in case of an alarm, the system can send a notification to the responsible person via email.
• Multiple Wallace & Tiernan microprocessor control units (Depolox Compact and Depolox E700 P) can be connected to a single MT Connect.
• The data display can be customized to the user’s needs.
